Our Story...

Steph's Story

 

When Joe first asked Steph out to lunch, all she could think was..."no."  Ditto for the second, third and fourth time.  However, when Joe asked Steph to Sunset for nachos and beer, she thought "I love nachos and beer. Sure, why not?"  That choice turned out to be one of the smartest decisions of her life.  After a night of relaxed conversation and a great deal of laughs, Joe's sense of humor, loyalty and chivalrous nature stole Steph's heart.  Since that first date, Joe's unending patience, unconditional love and unquestionable kindness has proved time and time again Steph's very first decision was correct.  She has never once doubted that Joe is the right person for her and the one she wants to spend the rest of her life with.

 

Joe's Story

Long before they became a couple, Joe remembers talking to Steph and thinking, "So, this girl is into gambling, horse racing and sports?" It seemed too good to be true. Once Joe started spending a little more time with Steph, he quickly realized she was much more than a girl who loved sports and the connection between the two of them seemed undeniable (for him, anyway). Of course, when he tried to get to know her a little better all he could find out was that she didn't really like to eat lunch. The big breakthrough came on that fateful trip to Sunset, when Joe finally found something he knew Steph couldn't resist. It was a wonderful night and Steph agreed, the next day mentioning that she was particularly happy that they didn't go to T's Pub. Except they did. Despite the fact that Steph may or may not have remembered this evening, one thing was for certain: Joe wanted more. Steph's kindness, sense of humor, beauty​ and the way everyone absolutely adored her made Joe want want to spend as much time with her as he could. He had finally finally met the girl he loved, the girl that was worth putting himself out there for- no matter how many times she turned down lunch.
