ROSTERS

Team Gottsch

Jackie Catcher, Maid of Honor

It all started after their very first class at Boston University - an 8am Statistics course.  Once the class was complete, Jackie approached Steph (who was sitting in the first row) and asked if Steph wanted to join a study group.  All Steph could think was..."geez what a nerd" and clearly Jackie was thinking the exact same thing about Steph.  Regardless, Steph said yes and what happened next was a birth of a best friendship between the

two.  Years of wingwomening, hilarious hijinks, barhopping and long meaningful conversations, Steph and Jackie have always undoubtedly had each others backs.  Jackie has always been there for Steph through thick and thin and Steph can't wait to have Jackie by her side on her big day.

Brittany Gottsch, Bridesmaid

For the first 22 months of Steph's life, she was riding solo - yucking it up with the rents, stealing all of the attention and getting toys like it was her job...then Brittany came along.  While they may have had their ups and downs since, Steph is so impressed with the woman Brittany has become. Fiercely loyal, outspoken and perserverent, Brittany has developed into an independent, amazing woman (Destiny's Child would be proud) and a

wonderful friend.  In fact, Steph always calls Britt first when she has an issue, because Brittany always knows the right thing to say.

Jessica Penner, Bridesmaid

Jess is Steph's comedy soulmate and writing partner. Jess and Steph met at Agganis Arena as freshmen in college. When they both decided that a satirical sitcom needed to be written to capture the next four years as ushers (or eternity if you were Steph), a great idea was born (USHERS) as well as a great friendship.  Though she may be 3000 miles away in LA now, Jess is still very near and dear to Steph's heart.  Someday they hope to villanize Matthew Perry in a sitcom.

Franny Buderman, Bridesmaid

Franny and Steph have known each other since high school.  Despite Franny's intimidating nature (she was only one of two girls to wear pants in their Catholic high school), Steph knew her and Franny would be great friends.  What pursued very soon after were years of conversations and antics filled with hilarity, teacher crushes, and gender bending movies.  They also have tons of blackmail on each other.

Shannon Chin, Bridesmaid

While studying "inbroad" during their Junior Year in DC, Steph and Shannon found out very quickly they would be roommates.  After the first night when Shanona didn't murder Steph in her sleep after realizing Steph had a terrible snoring problem and wore a retainer to bed, Steph quickly realized Shanona was a keeper.  Shannon and Steph also found out very quickly they both had a love of RnB and Gangster Rap.  They were a match made in heaven and if Steph wasn't marrying Joe, she very much would have asked for Shannon's hand in marriage.

Alexis Steinberg, Bridesmaid

When Steph first met Alexis during her sophomore year (Alexis's freshmen year) she thought internally "This is totally my sister from a different Mister...or maybe it was, finally someone will get all of my Nanny references!!?!" Regardless, Steph thinks Alexis is one of the hardest working, honest, loving and funny people she has ever met.  Everyday Steph is more and more impressed with the woman Alexis has become both on a personal level and a professional one. Alexis is an insanely awesome co-worker and an even better friend!

Team Rouse

Tim Knauf, Best Man

Tim and Joe have been in each other's corner since they first met as freshmen in 2002, when chance created a bond that would last a lifetime. Needless to say, these two have a long history together highlighted by their legendary beer-pong pairing. No one is quite sure if Tim and Joe have had their common-law marriage anulled yet or not, but we do known that Tim gets the honor of being Joe's best man just as Joe was for Tim.

Jeff Rouse, Groomsman

Little brothers are known for being a pain in the ass, and Jeff was no different. Then one day Joe realized that Jeff wasn't just his little brother anymore- he was now a friend, a confidant, someone he could rely on, someone who would always be there for him. These days, Joe and Jeff can be found together often, whether it be grilling food, watching the Red Sox or Bruins or discussing fantasy football.

Patrick Gillooly, Groomsman

Somewhere around 99% of the time, Joe and Patrick disagree with each other. In one famous example, they debated whether water would boil more quickly if stirred or not. Of course, these opposing viewpoints have proven beneficial on numerous occassions, from beer making to designing a web site to making a save the date. Friends since sometime in college, Patrick has always been there when Joe needs something or has a brilliant idea, no matter how crazy it may seem.

David DeLaurentis, Groomsman

Every team needs a rocket scientist, and DeLo is ours. No, that's not a joke. Joe and Dave were a natural fit when, not really knowing DeLo very well Joe asked "Want to drive to Florida with us for spring break?" They haven't looked back since, embarking on an epic journey that often leads to a dance party, whether with a well known DJ or at T's Pub. Whether as friends, roomates or partners in a dance-off, there is no question that Joe and DeLo are always there for each other.

Nick Cardamone, Groomsman

The first few things you will probably notice about Nick is his beard, his jolly disposition and his laugh. But, there's a lot more to Nick than that as Joe learned while they were roommates. As a 1984 graduate of BU, Nick brings a lot of wisdom and life experience to the group. He has also proven, time and again, to be a fantasic friend. In fact, he was one of the very first friends that Joe introduced Steph to.

Tommy Rouse, Groomsman

The junior member of the group, Joe's cousin Tommy represents just how important family is to him. Though there might a 16 year age difference, you wouldn't know it by watching how the two interact and hang out. Whether it's running around a cruise ship or zooming around on a four-wheeler, Joe and Tommy are clearly best buddies, even if they are separated my several years and hundreds of miles.
